MAHARISHI DAYANAND SARASWATI JAYANTI

The students of B.L.J DAV Cent. Public School, Jakhal Mandi paid tribute to the founder of Arya Samaj, Maharishi Dayanand  Saraswati on his birth anniversary. He was one of the most radical socio – religious reformer in the Indian history. A  special morning assembly was arranged on this occasion. The students read out excerpts from his inspiring and  enlightening life . Many poems narrating his awe – inspiring life were recited by the students. A Hawan Yajna was performed and A documentary film on Maharishi Dayanand  Saraswati was shown to the students.

The students took a pledge to follow the path shown by Swami Dayanand  Saraswati who advocated enlightened citizens free from the shackles of ignorance and superstitions.
